Winters Run Manor is located in zip code 21009 in Harford County. It sits just off Singer Road and is near Abingdon Elementary. The neighborhood is also close to Route 24, giving you straightforward access to I95, and other parts of the county. While it is close to major roads, the community itself feels more set back, which many buyers appreciate when they are trying to balance convenience with a quieter setting.

Winters Run Manor is a townhome community with homes built between 1996 and 2002. The homes typically range in size from about 1,400 to 2,800 square feet and usually offer two to four bedrooms.

One thing to be aware of is that most of the homes have steps leading up to the front door. For some buyers this could be an issue. Inside, many of the homes have layouts that reflect the time they were built, with defined living spaces and functional floor plans that still work well today.

The neighborhood itself has sidewalks throughout, which makes it easy to walk through the community. There are also mature trees that have had time to grow in, which gives the neighborhood a more established feel compared to newer developments. Another feature that stands out is that the community is surrounded by wooded areas, and some homes back directly to trees. That added privacy is something buyers often notice when comparing it to more open townhome communities.

Things Nearby

Harford Glen Park is located nearby and offers walking trails, nature areas, and environmental education programs. It is a quiet place to spend time outdoors and is often used for hiking and school related activities.

Box Hill Crabcakes and Pizzeria is a local favorite for casual dining. It is known for its crabcakes.  Many locals swear they are the best in Harford County.

The Boulevard at Box Hill, which includes Wegmans (my favorite), provides a central shopping area with groceries, restaurants, and everyday services. It is one of the more popular retail spots in this part of Harford County and is only a short drive from the neighborhood.

Schools

Residents of Winters Run Manor attend Harford County Public Schools, including Abingdon Elementary School, Edgewood Middle School, and Edgewood High School. As with any home purchase, I always recommend that buyers confirm school assignments directly with Harford County Public Schools, since boundaries can and do change over time.
