Fox Chase Homes for Sale and Neighborhood Guide

Welcome to Fox Chase, one of the more established and spacious luxury neighborhoods in the Bel Air area. Fox Chase is known for its large traditional homes, wide streets, and oversized flat lots that give the community an open and comfortable feel. Having helped buyers purchase homes here and living nearby myself, I am very familiar with the neighborhood. I created this page to give home buyers a practical overview of what it is like to live in this community, what makes it stand out, and what to expect if you are considering a move here. At the end of this page, you will also find current homes for sale in Fox Chase.

Prime Bel Air Location Fox Chase Homes for Sale

Fox Chase is located in zip code 21015 in Harford County, Maryland. The neighborhood is centered at the end of Amyclae Drive and also includes Wildflower Court, Bluebird Court, Royal Meadows Court, and part of Cloverfield Drive before it transitions into the Eva Mar community. Fox Chase is surrounded by the Amyclae East, Eva Mar, and Wagners Farm neighborhoods

One of the advantages of Fox Chase is its convenient location near Route 543, making it easy to access Bel Air, I-95, APG, and other parts of Harford County. Even with its accessibility, the neighborhood itself feels tucked away and quiet. Mature trees surrounding the community help create a secluded atmosphere that many buyers appreciate.

Fox Chase Homes and Neighborhood

Fox Chase Homes for Sale

Fox Chase is a smaller neighborhood with approximately 50 homes, which helps give it a more private and established feel compared to larger developments. The homes here are substantial in size, with most offering between four and six bedrooms and generous square footage throughout. The architecture is traditional colonial styling, with many homes featuring large red brick exteriors and elegant curb appeal.

One of the first things buyers tend to notice about Fox Chase is the pride of ownership throughout the neighborhood. Landscaping is consistently well maintained, and the yards are large, flat, and usable. Most lots are over half an acre, which is becoming harder to find in newer communities around Bel Air. The absence of fences combined with the wide streets gives the neighborhood a very open appearance.

Fox Chase also has a classic upscale suburban feel. Many homes feature brick columns at the ends of driveways, mature landscaping, and side-entry garages. The community feels refined without feeling overly formal.

Homes in Fox Chase were primarily built in the early 2000s. Because of this, buyers should expect that some homes may need cosmetic updates or refreshing depending on the property. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and paint colors may reflect the era in which the homes were built. However, the overall layouts remain very functional for many buyers today. One feature buyers often notice is that, despite the size of the homes, most do not include two-story family rooms or large open foyer concepts that became more common in later construction years. Instead, the layouts tend to feel more traditional and practical.
