Hunters Run is located in zip code 21015 in Harford County. It sits on Hunter Run drive which is off of Laurel Bush Road. The neighborhood is close to Route 24, Route 1, and other major roads that connect residents with downtown Bel Air, Abingdon, I-95, and surrounding areas.

Hunters Run is an HOA single family home community developed primarily in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Most of the homes are traditional colonial styles with three to four bedrooms, approximately 2,100 square feet of living space, and attached two car garages.

Lots are generally average in size (around .25 acres) and relatively flat. Mature trees and established landscaping give the neighborhood a settled appearance that is common in older Bel Air communities. Sidewalks run throughout Hunters Run, making it easier to walk around the neighborhood.
