About the Neighborhood and Homes
Prospect Green is a townhome community Most of the townhomes were built between 2012 and 2017, so they still feel relatively modern in both layout and finishes. These are larger townhomes, averaging around 2,700 square feet, typically offering three to four bedrooms along with attached garages.
The neighborhood itself has a somewhat private feel. Some of the homes toward the back of the community back to wooded areas, which adds a layer of privacy and a more natural setting. The community also features mature trees, relatively flat terrain, and sidewalks, making it comfortable for walking and spending time outdoors.
One important consideration is the layout. Because these homes include garages, most have a set of steps leading up to the main living level. For some buyers, that is not an issue, but for others it is something to think about depending on long term needs.
Given the age of the homes, you may find that some properties are starting to reach the point where appliance updates become a consideration. However, major components like roofing and mechanical systems should still have a good amount of life remaining.

Harford County Schools
Residents of Sandy Ridge are part of the Harford County Public Schools system. The typical school assignments for this neighborhood include Hickory Elementary School, Southampton Middle School, and C. Milton Wright High School, which is within walking distance.
It is always important for buyers to verify school assignments directly with the county before purchasing a home, as school boundaries can and do change over time.
