Edwards Manor Homes for Sale and Real Estate Guide
Welcome to Edwards Manor in Forest Hill, MD. This small community offers a private setting with traditional homes on large lots, giving residents a little extra breathing room without feeling isolated. The homes here sit on generous acreage, the streets are fairly quiet, and because there is no cut through streets, traffic is light. I put this page together to help home buyers get a better sense of what it is like to live in Edwards Manor, from the homes and setting to nearby attractions and schools. At the bottom of the page you will also find current homes for sale in the neighborhood.
A Prime Forest Hill Location
Edwards Manor is located in zip code 21050 within Harford County. The neighborhood is on Edwards Manor Drive just off East Jarrettsville Road, directly across from the Harford Sports Performance Center. The location sits roughly halfway between Route 24 and Conowingo Road, making it convenient for commuting around Harford County while still maintaining a quieter residential feel.
One of the things many buyers appreciate about this area is that it feels tucked away without being remote. You are close to shopping, dining, schools, and daily conveniences in both Forest Hill and Bel Air, but once you turn into the neighborhood, it immediately feels more relaxed and residential.
The Edward Manor Homes and Neighborhood
Edwards Manor is a smaller single family home community made up of traditional and colonial style homes built in the late 1990s. The neighborhood actually reminds me quite a bit of the Tudor Manor community in Bel Air because of the similar home styles, larger lots, and established feel.
Most of the homes here tend to be at least four bedrooms along with spacious floor plans designed for everyday living. Many homes feature classic red brick fronts that give the neighborhood a timeless appearance. The homes also sit on notably large lots, with the average property approaching two acres in size. That extra space between homes creates a very open feel throughout the neighborhood.
While there are mature trees scattered throughout Edwards Manor, the setting does not feel heavily wooded or overly secluded. Instead, the neighborhood has a balanced look with open lawns, long driveways, and attractive landscaping. It is common to see brick columns marking the entrances to driveways, which adds to the more upscale and established appearance of the community.
The streets here are slightly narrower and there are no sidewalks, but that generally works well for the neighborhood because traffic stays minimal. Since there are no cut through roads, most cars you see are residents or guests. Buyers looking for a quieter setting often appreciate that aspect of Edwards Manor.
Local Places of Interest
There are several popular spots nearby that make this part of Harford County especially appealing for homeowners. Here are some of my favorite places;
One local favorite is Rock State Park, known for its scenic hiking trails, fishing spots, and the King and Queen Seat overlook. It is a great place for outdoor recreation and one of the most recognizable parks in Harford County.
Enotria Restaurant & Grill is a well regarded local restaurant offering Italian cuisine in a comfortable and upscale atmosphere. It has become a popular date night and special occasion spot for many Harford County residents.
The Hickory Lodge is another nearby favorite known for its casual atmosphere, seafood dishes, and outdoor seating. It is a longtime local gathering spot and a convenient option for dining close to home.
Residents are also only a short drive from Downtown Bel Air, which offers local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, seasonal events, and community festivals throughout the year. Downtown Bel Air gives this area a strong sense of community while still remaining manageable in size compared to larger suburban areas.
