There are also several museums nearby, including the Decoy Museum, Maritime Museum, and Lock House Museum, all of which reflect the area’s history.
Downtown streets are lined with local shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafés, many set in restored historic buildings.
The town is also known for its events. Throughout the year, there are festivals, seasonal activities, and community gatherings that bring people into the area.
Getting around is relatively easy since the city is compact. There is access to nearby highways, and the Amtrak line runs close by, with trains passing through the area.
