Although Jarrettsville has a more rural setting, it is still possible to enjoy many of the larger destinations throughout the region. Baltimore and the Inner Harbor can work for a day trip, sporting event, concert, or museum visit. Annapolis, Washington, D.C., Lancaster, and Philadelphia are also possible day-trip destinations. For a longer outing, residents can travel to beaches in Maryland, Delaware, or southern New Jersey.
