Welcome to Wexford, a single-family home community in the Aberdeen area of Harford County. The neighborhood offers modest-sized Colonial homes in a convenient location close to Interstate 95. I have put this page together to give home buyers an overview of what it is like to live in Wexford. At the end of this page, you will find a list of current Wexford homes for sale.

A Convenient Aberdeen Location Wexford Homes for Sale

Wexford is located in the 21001 ZIP code in Harford County, Maryland. The neighborhood entrance is along Ashford Drive, which can be reached from Philadelphia Road at the traffic circle across from Riverside Apartments. From Ashford Drive, the community continues to Tralee Circle and Kerry Court.

This location places residents close to Belcamp and Bel Air. Maryland Route 543 and Interstate 95 are both nearby, making Wexford practical for buyers who commute or frequently travel throughout Harford County, Cecil County and the Baltimore region. The community is also just a short drive from the restaurants, grocery stores, services, and shopping found along Route 543 and near the Interstate 95 ramp.

Homes and Streets in Wexford

Wexford is an HOA community consisting of detached single-family homes. Homes were constructed during the early 2000s and feature traditional Colonial-style designs. They generally have four or five bedrooms, attached garages, basements, and practical two-story layouts.

The homes are modest in size compared with some of the larger Colonials found in newer Harford County developments. Lot sizes tend to be slightly under one-fifth of an acre. This may appeal to buyers who want a detached home without the upkeep that comes with a large property.

Sidewalks run through the neighborhood, and mature trees have had time to grow since the community was built. Wexford has one main entrance, which helps limit unnecessary traffic from drivers cutting through the neighborhood.

The street layout is relatively simple. Tralee Circle forms a large loop through the community, while Kerry Court sits within the middle of that loop. Some homes along the outer side of Tralee Circle back to wooded areas, giving those particular properties a little more natural separation behind them. Wexford’s organized street pattern and limited number of roads also make the neighborhood fairly easy to navigate.

What Buyers Should Know

Wexford’s smaller lots create a more compact neighborhood setting. Homes sit relatively close together, so buyers looking for substantial space between neighboring properties may find the community slightly condensed. However, the smaller lots also mean less grass, landscaping, and exterior maintenance.

Some homes near the outside of the neighborhood back toward commercial properties. Trees provide some buffer, but buyers may occasionally hear trucks or other activity. The amount of noise and privacy can vary by property, so it is helpful to visit a home at different times of the day.

Although shopping and dining are only a few minutes away by car, Wexford is not considered walkable for everyday errands. The neighborhood has a Walk Score of 8, meaning most errands require a vehicle.

Since the homes were built in the early 2000s, their condition can vary. Some have been updated with newer kitchens, flooring, roofs, heating and cooling systems, or refreshed bathrooms. Others may still have original finishes and could benefit from cosmetic improvements. Buyers should evaluate both the visible condition and the age of major systems when comparing Wexford homes for sale.
