Welcome to The Pond condo community in Forest Hill, MD. One of the things I like about this community is that it offers more affordable condo living in a location that gives residents quick access to both Forest Hill and Bel Air. Comfortable Location 
The Pond is located in zip code 21050 in Harford County, Maryland. The community sits just off Route 24 across from the popular Spenceola Farms neighborhood and is only a short drive from downtown Bel Air. Many buyers are drawn to this area because it provides a balance of convenience and a quieter suburban setting.
Route 24 makes commuting around Harford County relatively easy, whether you are heading toward Bel Air, Fallston, Aberdeen, or I-95. Residents also appreciate being close to shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, fitness centers, and daily conveniences. The location allows homeowners to stay connected to many of the things they need without feeling like they are in the middle of a busy commercial area.
The Community and Homes
The Pond is a condo community that was built in the early 1990s. The neighborhood offers a mix of two- and three-bedroom condo units, with most units ranging from approximately 1,050 to 1,300 square feet. These floor plans tend to appeal to a wide variety of buyers including first time home buyers, downsizers, single professionals, and buyers looking for a more affordable option in the Forest Hill area.
One of the things I like about The Pond is the mature landscaping throughout the community. Since the neighborhood is older, the trees and greenery have had time to grow in, giving the area a more established feel compared to some newer developments. The community also features a pond area and community center that add to the overall atmosphere.
The neighborhood has a walk score of approximately 40, which means some errands can be accomplished nearby, but most residents will still rely on a car for day to day transportation. That said, the location near Route 24 does make getting around relatively convenient.
Because the community was built in the early 90s, buyers should expect some variation in condition between units. Some condos have been beautifully updated with modern kitchens, flooring, paint, and bathrooms, while others may need to be refreshed.
